Pregnancy belly casting molding is an inventive and dexterous method to memorialize the phases of pregnancy, creating a three dimensional collectible that can be decorated, painted, and displayed as art work as well.

This helps it hold better when it is drying. Let dry for around one half hour then take off the tummy cast for maternity by gently shaking yourself unless it loosens after which your family member can lift it away from the pregnant woman.
Set the gestational body sculpture away for anywhere twenty four to forty eight hours. After it is wholly dry apply a coat of Gesso to prevent moisture damage. Gesso is a powdered type of the mineral calcium-carbonate commonly used by painters. Gesso can also be used as the paint-primer for the stomach cast if the mother wants to paint it.
Considering the belly sculpture is going to be colored, ensure it has been taken off from the expectant mother first. The plaster is not damaging to the skin but ingredients in the paint may be harmful to mother or child. Pregnancy body casting can be an enjoyable experience for all those involved, celebrating fun together with the proud parent/s while making memories for generations to come.
