Through a urine sample, the doctor is able to determine how long a woman has been pregnant based on the B-hcG levels. If a woman's levels are about about 100,000, she has been pregnant for about ten weeks.

The sonogram technician uses measurements of your uterus, the gestational sac, your fetus's skull circumference, and the crown to rump length to determine how far along you are, and thus how long you have to go. A full term pregnancy is anywhere between thirty seven and forty two weeks. It's easy to understand how inaccurate a EDD can be, considering there is a five week window of opportunity for a healthy birth. An EDD is more of a guideline for a woman, since only five percent of births occur on the EDD.
How to predict your baby due date isn't a complex, or time consuming thing.
