Are You Fertile? Answer The Question With 3 Simple Ways
You can actually monitor and time your sexual intercourse to be in sync with the most fertile time of the month. There are three ways to identify the most fertile days of your menstrual cycle and increase the likelihood of successfully starting a pregnancy. These three methods are natural ways of predicting the time for conception and answering the question Are you fertile? You can monitor your fertility easily through the three fertility markers - namely the cervical fluid test, the cervical position identification and the basal body temperature.
One way to answer your question Are you fertile is the vaginal secretions as it usually signifies fertility. You may want to learn more about it to help you understand when the perfect timing is. This secretion could be the cervical mucus which is actually secreted by the cervix. This secretion is produced in large quantities during the menstrual cycles but is kept at a minimum quantity after the period is over, causing the woman to feel dry.
At the start of the cycle, the mucus is normally cloudy and thick, but this turns to clear, slippery, and stretchy when the cycle is in its middle stage. The consistency of the mucus is somewhat similar to the white of an egg. The occurrence of this mucus usually signifies fertility.
To personally feel it and observe the changes, of course, you can check the mucus yourself. Using your own hands, wipe your vagina gently. Make sure your hands are clean and thoroughly washed before doing it. Look if the mucus is clear, stretchy, and clear in color. If this is so, then you can say that you are fertile and ready for pregnancy.
The second marker for fertility test is to check your cervical position. The cervix changes its position as the cycle goes every month. But this fact is not really known to most women. During the cycle, the cervix changes its position and this is a major indication that a woman is fertility. Observe and monitor its position daily for accuracy.
Normally, the cervix is in a low position at the start of the cycle. However, the cervix transfers to a much higher position just before and during ovulation. You can check the position of the cervix yourself by inserting the middle finger into the vagina. Identifying the cervix is rather easy since it feels like a rounded cylindrical mass of tissue.
The third marker of fertility is the basal body temperature (BBT). The body has a temperature that changes when you are fertile. The BBT is the body's baseline temperature, which increases whenever a woman is fertile. Even half a degree of increase can indicate that fertility is at the high rate. The BBT is normally lower at the earlier part of the cycle, but when the ovulation starts, it increases slightly and stays at that level until the start of the next cycle.
For accurate results, you should get your BBT in the morning while you are still in bed and before you do any of your routine. Avoid sipping drinking water or gargling tap water before doing it. Just place an oral thermometer in your mouth and get your BBT. Make a daily chart of your temperature to personally monitor how your temperature rises. The increase in your temperature could be an indication that you are fertile.
These are the three natural and easy ways that you can do to monitor your fertility to help you answer your question Are you fertile? Using these three methods can be helpful, but by just doing the right procedure of even only one of these can give you assurance of a possible pregnancy. The more you understand your body and the changes that happen on it will help you get the perfect timing for fertility for a successful pregnancy. These simple steps can be the ways to give answers to your question Are you fertile? And you can be happy with your right timing of pregnancy.
